How to get from the Hotel to the Venue

The 4th European Bronchiectasis Workshop 2025 will be held in Sorbonne University International Conference Center (CICSU). Which is 20 minutes walk by foot from the Hotel. If you choose this way to reach the Venue, head straight on Rue des Ecoles. Once you reach the end of the street you will still be able to walk straight now on Rue Jussieu. At the end of this street on your left will be the entrance to the venue.

Walk to the stop of Odèon and travel with line 10 until Jussieu. Walk 400m on the Rue Jussieu and you will arrive at the venue.

How to reach the Hotel

If you arrive at Gare de Lyon take bus 24 from bus stop Lyon towards the Panthèon. Get off at stop Panthèon. Head west on Rue Soufflot toward Rue saint-Jacques. Turn right onto Rue Saint-Jacques. Turn left onto Rue des Ecoles. Finally, slightly left onto Rue Racine.

 

If you arrive at Gare du Nord head towards The Gare Du Nord metro stop. Here take Line 4 to Odèon. From there head out southeast on Bd Saint-Germain toward Rue Hautefeuille. Turn right onto Rue Hautefeuille and then left onto Rue de l’Ecole de Medecine. Finally turn right onto Rue Racine.

 
Once arrived at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport take the train service run by RER, B towards Massy- Palaiseau. Get off the train at Saint-Michel Notre-Dame. Exit the stairs via Bd Saint-Germain. Head west on Bd Saint-Germain towards Bd Saint-Michel. Turn left onto Bd Saint-Michel. Turn right onto Rue Racine.

 

If you arrive at Paris-Orly Airport take train Orly 1,2,3 service run by RATP. Take this train until stop Antony. Here switch to train B service run by RER. Disembark from the train at stop Saint-Michel Notre-Dame. Take the stairs and exit via Bd Sait-Germain. Head west on Bd Saint-Germain toward Bd Saint-Michel. Turn left onto Bd Saint-Michel. Turn right onto Rue Racine.

 

The closest bus stop is Les Ecoles bus stop for buses 21, 27, 38, N14 and N21. From there proceed north on Bd Saint-Michel towards Rue Racine. Turn left on Rue Racine.

Booking policy 

Registration to the Workshop is mandatory to book an hotel room. 

Only rooms fully pre-paid are considered as confirmed. 

Upon receipt of the relevant payment, all participants will receive an invoice that will serve as booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation or modification of hotel booking must be sent in writing to the Organising Secretariat Publi CrĂ©ations S.A.M. – Lena Group at info@bronchiectasis-eu.org and will be subject to the following conditions: 

  • Before 13 November 2024, all fees will be refunded minus € 48 for administrative charges.
  •  Between 13 November and 30 January 2025: Cancellations will be fully refunded after deduction of 50% of the total accommodation rate
  • After 30 January 2025:  The total amount is considered as fully due and any amount paid shall be non-reimbursable

All reimbursements will be set after the Workshop.

Welcome to the 4th European Bronchiectasis Workshop

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate and, more importantly, to actively contribute to the 4th European Bronchiectasis Workshop (EBROW 2023).

Previous editions of the World Bronchiectasis Conference series (Milan 2017, Virtual Edition 2020, Prague 2022) have seen attendances of more than 400 participants from all over the World, with each edition enjoying excellent participant engagement through the presentation of abstracts (90 per edition in average). The 1st and 2nd European Bronchiectasis Workshops – Vienna July 2019, Virtually July 2021, saw over 200 specialists meet to face and discuss the most relevant arguments on the subject. The community continued to grow in 2023 with a participation of more than 350 specialists at the 3rd European Bronchiectasis Workshop in Milan and more than 500 specialists at the 6th World Bronchiectasis Conference in New York.

Indeed, the last years have been amazing for the bronchiectasis international community, with an increasing understanding of the physiopathology mechanisms behind the disease, the clarification of the epidemiology through EMBARC and National Registries, the design and realisation of clinical studies which provide hope for new possible therapies in the near future.

Besides the usual goals of updating and educating the scientific community, aggregating the European Bronchiectasis experts in Paris in 2025 may have a great value to strongly advocate for the recognition of the disease in France and in other European countries.

We would therefore be delighted if you would consider attending and actively contribute to the 3rd European Bronchiectasis Workshop.
