About EBROW & RTI 2027

The European Bronchiectasis Workshop (EBROW) has evolved significantly since its inception. The first edition took place in Vienna, the second was held entirely online, and the third was hosted in Milan, with each edition attracting a growing international community.

In recent years, the bronchiectasis field has seen important advances, including a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms, growing epidemiological insights from international registries, and promising clinical studies that may contribute to new therapeutic approaches.

Following the fourth edition of EBROW in Paris, we are delighted by the strong interest the meeting continues to generate among healthcare professionals and patients. The 2025 edition welcomed a record 480 participants, including 284 onsite and 196 virtual attendees, with 73 international speakers contributing to the programme.

For many years, RTI International Forum and the EBROW (European Bronchiectasis Workshop) have provided separate platforms for specialists in bronchiectasis and respiratory tract infections.

As bronchiectasis and respiratory tract infections are increasingly interconnected, with shared challenges and opportunities across research, diagnosis and treatment, it feels like a natural evolution to bring EBROW and RTI Forum together.

So, this time around in 2027, these two established meetings will unite for the first time, to create a stronger platform for shared learning, debate and collaboration.
